El Plato Viajero salió de paseo a Hoi An, una pequeña ciudad en el centro de Vietnam, puerto famoso en el siglo XVII por los intercambios mercantiles que ahí se hacían. Hoy en día, es de los lugares más gastronómicos de Vietnam.

En el mercado central, el Plato disfruta de una fruta exótica muy conocida en el sureste de Asia: Jack fruit. Sabe a piña y plátano (y es muy pegajosa), pero su sabor es exquisito.


The Traveler Plate went to Hoi An, a small town in Vietnam and a famous port in the seventeenth century because of the market exchanges made there. Now, it is one of the mostgourmet places in Vietnam.

In the central market, the Plate enjoy an exotic fruit well known in Southeast Asia: Jack fruit. It tastes like pineapple and banana (and it’s very sticky), but the taste is exquisite.
